This Chicken curry recipe is full of flavor and easy to make.


  • 2 medium-sized onions
  • 2 dried Chili Peppers, ground
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 stick of cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of whole cloves
  • 1 tbsp of turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon of ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon of ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoons of ground coriander
  • 1 chicken Broiler fryer 3 to 4 lb ,cut into serving pieces
  • 1 cup of tomato juice
  • 1 cup of chicken broth
  • 1-2 tablespoons of cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 cup of warm water
  • 1-2 limes,quartered


  1. In a large heavy bottom pan saute onions, chillies ,and garlic in oil .Add cinnamon ,cloves, tumeric, Ginger, cumin ,and coriander and saute' together until onions are translucent .Add chicken and saute' until it is well coated with spices and slightly and golden color add tomato juice and chicken broth, cover with a tight-fitting lid and simmer over very low heat stirring occasionally for 1 to 2 hours or until chicken is tender. Thicken sauce with cornstarch just before serving. Squeeze lime over chicken just before serving.

    Serve with small bowls of yogurt, shredded unsweetened coconut, or peanuts.
